It’s self deprecating. Hip hop is not always 100% self serious, though it may seem so. The dude just wants to share how good skittles make him feel. He knows it’s dumb. Donks were all about being dumb. They were probably extremely fun to hang out in. Have you never heard of Donks? They grew beyond the original cars to include anything and became high risers.

I don’t understand them either, but luckily they tend to do this to cars that otherwise suck and therefore nobody really cares (although they can be dangerous, they don’t think they’re making it handle better like stancers do, and therefore they never drive like douchebags).

I’m okay with the first one because it’s well done, merging the rat rod and bosozuko styles, which are closely related cousins, without going overboard, into a cleanly unified mix.

The Civic Camino is also pretty great because it should remind automakers that just because they don’t think a Ute would sell doesn’t mean people don’t really want them. However, the color scheme is just screaming out for Jurassic Park logos.

I have an unhealthy love of that Geo Metro stretched limo. 10/10, would pay for that to deliver child to prom or me from wedding (if hypothetical wife would be a good sport about it).

I also like that the Mazda took the “fart can” exhaust literally and did it ironically. May also be the best use of hanging stuff under a car I've seen because it draws attention to the can.
